I have a 9 yr old chi, and for the last 5 days, she isnt eating or drinking much, and she doesnt want to go out to potty much, she isnt meeting me at the door at nite when I come home from work anymore, she isnt jumping on the bed or couch, we have to pick her up now all the time. Can anyone give me any idea as to why she would be acting like this? There have been no changes in our home or lifestyles at all.

I think you should call your vet asap. If she is acting that noticibly different then something must be off with her. It may be minor but if a dog isn't eating or drinking as much and leghargic than most likely something is wrong. take her in and post what the outcome is, I will be thinking about her.
