Question lump under the skin

9 week old golden, dhlpp vaccine given subQ in the loose nape of the neck like always, developed a quarter size lump that hasn't gone away in a week?
Anybody have this before? Determine what it is or what causes this?

Re: lump under the skin

Probably a reaction to the vacs. Keep an eye on her and if she starts acting different call your vet. By different that could be acting ill or in attitude.

Ex. irritable, lethargic, loss of appetite etc. Any departure from the norm.

Re: lump under the skin

My dogs have gotten them before after vacs. I'd call it a minor reaction. Iff you're worried, call your vet.

I've stopped vaccinating my older dogs completely. I titer instead. It's more expensive though.
