Does anyone give herbs to their dogs?

I am always looking for ways to improve my dogs health. Do you feel herbs are helpful. I have read some things on this topic where herbs are beneficial to dogs.Does anyone know what herbs are bad for dogs?

It's a very complicated issue, one that requires a lot of research and consultation with someone knowledgeable. In the US I would say always go to a holistic or homeopathic vet to get a good idea of how to supplement. I don't have that luxury here but I do have a growing library of herbal books specifically for animal use. I use herbs every day for my dogs. Even in their food.

How long have you been using it for them? What are names of some of the books you have. I am always looking for books on holistic nutrition for dogs but can never find any at the book store.

See the third to last post on this thread for my three favorite books. I bought all of mine at Amazon and had them mailed to me. I have a LOT more than just those three. but so far they're the three that get the most use.
