Question Rawhide versus cowhide....pighide???

So I know that all the white rawhide chew bones and sticks, etc are bad to give your dog b/c they are not digestible and can get stuck in their intestinal tract. Well, I buy my papillon bully sticks which you may know just turn to mush and melt since they are 100% cow so are safe, but she gets bored with them. I also found dehydrated 100% chicken breast which she LOVES to chew on (once its a little piece, much to her shagrin it gets taken away) and then found what looks like rawhide sticks but they are light brown & I think say pighide or something pig but definitely do not say rawhide. I got them at PetSmart. Are these safe? Or is it just advertising trying to fool me by saying pighide instead of rawhide.

pighide should be much safer than rawhide.

Why not get your dog a raw soup bone. The marrow inside the bone is very healthy. Dont cook the bone as it can cause the bone itself to splinter when chewed on.
I dont usually get my dogs rawhides because they can be very dangerous.
I also take the bones away before they get too small.
