Vomiting Puppy

I need your help once again ...

My three months old puppy vomited twice over the course of the last 4 days. The fist time was on the 24th, my brother stressed him out by wanting to pet him so he vomited until only clear liquid came out. We put him in his crate and he came out next morning as good as if nothing had happened. He ate and drank as normal.

Today on the 28th, he got excited and started playing with me, suddenly he asked for the door and vomited outside. He had a two hours walk this afternoon (accident: my boyfriend forgot his keys and had to wait 2hrs outside) and played a lot.

Both times it was brown matter (brown kibble) with a very small amount of a white bubbly substance.

We travelled a lot between the 24 and 26 and I was wondering if it was because he was nervous? We are debating, I say that it may be blockage and go to the vet and my partner says that it's completely normal for dogs to vomit once in a while.

What do you think?

Re: Vomiting Puppy

It could be a lot of things...strange water, disrupted schedule, lack of sleep, too rough playing, stress...

If you are back home now I would watch the pup for any further signs. Call your vet right away if you suspect the dog is ill. Watch for more vomiting, stool change, appetite, and activity level.
