Exclamation Visiting Dog just given flea meds - HELP!

My sister and her husband just adopted a 3 year old dog last weekend. They flew out today for a 5 day visit to his parents, and we are watching their dog. We learned last night, when they brought him over, that he had been taken to the vet with the itchies...and was given Frontline and worm medications. We have a dog, a cat, a chinchilla, and 5 kids...so having a flea outbreak in my house would be a fabulous Christmas present!!!! The vet had told them that the dog would be fine to go to a training class by 6 pm last night...although that was less than 12 hours after application of Frontline.

Should I be freaking out and cleaning everything in sight? They arrived at our house after 9 pm last night...three hours after the vet said it would be okay to go to the training session at Petsmart. Would the fleas and eggs be dead or dying by the time they got here? Or am I in for a house wide cleaning and de-fleaing?

Any help is appreciated. Thank You!

From the Frontline website:

FRONTLINE Plus offers the long-lasting, most complete flea and tick control available, killing up to 100% of fleas on your pet within 18 hours and up to 100% of ticks on your pet within 48 hours. Best of all, research confirms that FRONTLINE products work for an entire month to help keep your pet flea-free.
