What do you think this sounds like? My 8 month old Pyrenees has been coughing and hacking up vie, or more like saliva off and on yesterday. She has a good appetite, and she is very playful and energetic. She has had all of her vaccines including kennel cough at 16 weeks. My Saint Bernard is not coughing and he has not had his kennel cough vaccine yet.
I will take her to the vet if she keeps it up, yet honestly I am hoping she will stop because we had a huge emergency vet bill in November when she ate something toxic and that pretty much took all of our Christmas money, so any additional trips will come out of Christmas dinner for the family, ect. Any advice or how long I should wait to bring her in? Do dogs get common colds that pass?
She slept through the night without coughing but I heard her coughing in the morning. |
