HI again! My little (or not so little) "Bandit" is starting to nest and she has diarreah (sp) . She is also leaving little wet spots about the size of a half dollar around the house. It does not smell like urine. Is this her water? All help would be appreciated.

You should not be depending on a forum when and if your little dog may be going into labour. Phone your vet and tell him what you have posted here. You don't want to mess around with a labouring pom if things are not progressing as they should. Diarrhea alone can weaken her, and is not a part of labour, though it can be if the dam is very stressed. Normally a dog does not " break water " the way a human does, but they can be starting into labour and shedding fluid from the first sac around the first puppy. Call your vet and touch base with him. don't waste time here right now.
