Tirluc... (or Lab owners)

Just wondering, seeing as though you have Border Collies...
Have you ever come across Exercise Induced Hypothermia/Collapse, or Malignant Hypothermia?

My BC was diagnosed 4 years ago with it (EIC) and while it has been some time now since he has "collapsed" his exercise time is limited to alot of short sessions as apposed to good long sessions that normally as a BC he could handle and lives for.

It is far more common in Labs, but is documented in BC's as well... ( other breeds too) and I (for obvious reasons) have taken a general interest in the "disorder".

Just wondering if you have ever seen this with your BC's?

Do you mean "hyper"thermia rather than "hypo"?
