| Suz, have you talked to your vet about this? I would, and be sure to limit his exposure to that stream, you don't know what toxins may be flowing in that. He may also be disagreeing with the food. Just because a food is a " good " one, does not mean your particular dog agrees with it. I do not want to scare you, and your dog is a mix, but there is a condition in many large breeds which can lead to death. It is gastric torsion. It is highly unlikely in a mix, but it can happen. Dogs who have digestive problems serious enough to get torsion, often precede the final bloat, and in fact, all their bloat and digestive problems, with gas. Having said that, there are many dogs who have lots of gas who never bloat...He should be checked out thoroughly, and talk to your vet about the food, I suspect you have to change it. Good luck. |
