Please Help!!

I have a female Toy Poodle in her first heat, and we have a male Toy who also isn't fixed. We kept them in seperate rooms for over two weeks. She was almost out of heat, so it seemed, and I left her in the room for about three and a half minutes. The male got in, and they started doing "it".. This has caused tons of stress in our family, especially since Pheobe is only one year. I recently posted a thread on this topic, only it was about her being in heat. What can we do? Our neighbor had two Boston Terriers who bred on their first heat, and the female had two healthy puppies.. Please don't hate me, it was a complete accident, but it was my own fault because I didn't close the door right, now we're probably gonna have to pay $$600 dollars just to get her checked... If you have any suggestions I really need them....thanks.

Please Help!!!

If she is pregnant, most likely her vulva will stay swollen and not go down. If you were not planning to breed her at all, my aunt had a dog get out and she went and her her spayed before any signs were even seen but I, myself wouldn't do this. Don't stress over it. Accidents do happen and you learn from them. She should be fine since she is a year old though. How old is the male? If he is 6 months or under in age, there is a small chance that he doesn't have any good "swimmers" yet.

Keep us posted.

Thanks so much, I feel alot better, but what should we do? Should we get her spayed or let her have puppies? We're taking her to the vet soon, so I guess we'll wait for the "golden words". Thanks for your help!
