Eight Teeth and Wobbly?

I just picked up my new bulldog pup, 12 week old brindle and white male. I have just two issues:

First, he has 8 teeth on top between his canine teeth. The second in from the left and the second in from the right are actually two small teeth right next to each other. There are two normal teeth between the two sets of doubles. They are baby teeth, so I am hoping there will only be six teeth when his adult teeth come in, as the rest of his teeth are nicely spaced. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Also, he is still very clumsy when he walks around. Naturally a puppy is going to take a while to get his bearings, but this one seems particularly wobbly. Sometimes his legs will just give out from under him without provocation. I had the vet check it out, and she mentioned that his patella is slightly 'loose' on his hind legs, but was unable to make any sound conclusions. She wants to wait a few months until he grows more and hopefully his legs get stronger. Any suggestions or comments?

Thanks,

Chris

THe wobly thing is VERY common in the breed. As you know, they're literally bred with deformities. (The short legs, stout body, under bite, and flat face)

12 weeks is still very young, and wobbling is ok. Considering the breed, and his age, I don't think there's any problem.

However, Bulldogs are prone to having Hip Dysplasia, and this may be early signs of it. As your vet said, wait a few months and see if his walking ability has improved. (Wait till about 6 months)

Our puppy had her baby teeth and adult teeth in at the same time for a while too. After a while the baby ones fell out, usually while she was chewing on something.
