Is this normal? please help me

i resently got my dog desexed. she is almost 6 months. its been2 days after the operation. Im not sure if her behaviour is normal or not. please help me! She is usally happy and playful but she just sits staring at nothing and sometimes she falls asleep while sitting? and it seems like she cant get comfortable, shes like a fish out of water, flopping around. Im not sure if this is normal or not im just worried about my little girl. She also had some teeth pulled and a little lump removed from her stomache. Please help me!

It's likely she's still a little "off" from the medication. Usually they are administered painkillers that stay in their systems a few days. After Tysa got spayed, she stared at walls and made weird sounds, slept a lot. Acted quite strange for a few days, but got better soon enough. You could call your vet and explain exactly what's going on, they'll have a better idea of if it's something to worry about. I personally think it's just to do with the drugs, but never a bad idea to discuss it with your vet.

Yeah it's pretty normal.. Our 3 dogs were the same way. I assume they sleep while their sitting so that their is no pressure on their tummies.. The drugs take some time to pass as well.. If your really worried give the vet a call. If it keeps up for another couple days then give the vet a call

If it were my dog, I'd see about having the vet give her a once over. It might be normal post-op behavior, but it might be medication not agreeing with her, it might be that she needs a different antibiotic, or she might actually be having a problem. I'd rather sort that out before the weekend.

I would agree with Lorina and get a quick vet check done. I always prefer to error on the side of caution, and I think a quick visit to your regular vet would be easier than having to find an emergency vet this weekend. Good luck.
