Angry Dog Stumbles

This is alittle new to me but my dog is a Dibetic and has just started going blind from cataracts what I need to know is that sometimes when she is walking she will stumble and it scares me and my wife we don't know if it is due to her going blind or is there something else wrong with her .( Anybody else ever go through this?)

One of my previous dogs was diabetic and she was also having small strokes. When she was having the strokes she would stumble and sometimes fall. Talk to your vet.

I have also heard that diabetes can cause the little strokes.
Do diabetic animals have the same circulation problems as humans diabetics? Perhaps she is having that trouble with her legs.

More than likely it is from her going blind. She probably hasn't gotten her bearings yet. Do you check her sugar levels at home or at the vets? When she does this I would check her sugar level to see if it is high or low.

I was thinking the same thing because she is just blind in one eye but the other is starting to go it looks like she will be getting surgery cause we can't stand to see her not have fun with her sister they always played together and now she doesn't .THANKS FOR YOU REPLAY>

My grandparnets recently put their dog to sleep because she was Diabetic, and blind. also she had abcesses on her leg that wouldn't go away. a lot of health problems going on with her.

Goodluck with your dog though
