I posted here about Sarctopic Mange, Update

So, I took my pup to another vet. They took scrapings on her ears and did not see anything. Like the other Vet, they did not want to rule out mites because they said that it is possible that the Revolution could have driven them deeper into the skin.(could this really happen?)
Yesterday they gave her an oral dose of Ivermectin. She will be get this for 4 weeks. They said that I should see some relief with the itching last night. Well, I noticed that she is still itchy as of this morning. I am not really sure of how long it takes to see a change. Does anyone know?
She is also on an antibiotic for the skin infection, a medicated shampoo/rinse, and allergy tablets, just in case it is allergy related.
I really hope that it is not allergy, I am terrified

There will be residual itchiness for a while as the mites die and the body continues to react to them. If you don't see improvement in three weeks (the time it takes to completely replace the layers of skin) then I would start looking for allergies.
