EllenCherryCharles I have a ?

You helped me in previous posts regarding the possible Sarctopic Mange case....

So, I took my pup to another vet. They took scrapings on her ears and did not see anything. Again, they did not want to rule out mites because they said that it is possible that the Revolution could have driven them deeper into the skin.(could this really happen?) Yesterday they gave her an oral dose of Ivermectin. She will be given this for 4 weeks. They said that I should see some relief with the itching last night. Well, I noticed that she is still itchy as of this morning. I am not really sure of how long it takes to see a change.

Hey Scamp, I found some information on mange on Shirley's Wellness Cafe site and thought I would share it. You'll have to scroll down to the middle of the page (there are many many articles on this one page) to see the section titled "Mange". I really wish your baby wasn't so itchy.

That is a great website (shirleys-wellness-cafe). Neem oil treatment is great for dog with sarcoptic mange.
