Question What could these places be?

I have a 9 week old Lab mix puppy named Dakota, I was giving her a bath today when I noticed that she has the yellow blister type bumps around her private area and on her belly. What could be the cause of these and how do I treat them. Is it major should I take her to the vet. I need help. Thank you for any and all advice.

There are several things it could be, take her into the vet and have it looked at.

Re: What could these places be?

I just came home from the vet with Dakota, the vet told me that the places are just a simple rash, and gave me some ointment to rub on her 3 times a day and that it should clear up in about 5 days. She got the rash becuase she is allergic to my laundry detergent that I used to wash her drying towle. Thanks for all the great adivce. I worry alot when it comes to my baby and this site is amazing with the amount of help I can get.

The vet also told me that I need to use a Dog Shampoo for sensitive skin. Any ideas on what kind I should get?

Re: What could these places be?

My 1 year old female aussie mix has these yellow bumps all over her belly and chest with a combination of severely red skin all over her body and loss of hair. She isn't biting or scratching and was doing well with 2 different antibiotics twice a day and a medicated shampoo but a week later it's all come back worse than ever. I'm going back to the vet in the morning. How is your pup doing?
