| Our new family member (to be) My sister is getting a new kitten soon, this summer. Its going to be a Siamese and I have lots of pictures! The kittens were born May 18th, all 5 of them, 3 girls and 2 boys. So far one of them is a seal point Siamese like the mom (Star, my parents cat). The fathers a lilac point (like my Lily) and his name is Hoku, which is funny because Hoku means Star in Hawaiian! |

| Re: Our new family member (to be) Here are the kittens. Star is a GREAT mother and she loves it so much she purrs when the kittens are nursing! But even though Star loves it I have convinced my parents to get her spayed after this litter. All the kittens are spoken for, but we (me and my sister) get the best girl kitten because I want to show her to her Grand Premiership, like I am doing with Lily. The 2 individual kitten pictures are 2 of the girls that my sister wants. She wants the smallest kitten, which my mom calls the runt, the runt is a fighter so we arent worried about her.

| Re: Our new family member (to be) How cute! There's nothing in this world cuter than a kitten.
Question: I know Siamese kittens are born white or mostly white and get darker, but how do you know which will be lilac or seal point? Is the one with the darkest face a seal point? |

| Re: Our new family member (to be) Well my boss has been breeding Siamese for many years and what she guesses usually ends up being true when the points spread over their faces. But at the moment you can only tell by their nose and ear tips. The one seal is the only dark color in this litter, the rest are dilutes (lilac point or chocolate point). I personally am praying for a chocolate point girl because Lily is lilac and it would just be more interesting to have a chocolate. Here are some pictures to look at. The top right picture are 2 dilute kittens, the bottom left is the seal point and you can also see if you look at all the kittens with Star the seal point male is the middle kitten. You can see that his ear tips are darker then the rest.
Can you see it? |

| Re: Our new family member (to be) Aw they're so cute! I see it I think. The last pic has blackish colored tip ears and the ones before him are a palish brown color. Maybe I'm completely color blind. |

| Re: Our new family member (to be) Haha! I have PJ's with the Siamese cats on them from Lady and the Tramp. I think the Siamese from that movie dont give the breed justice at all. It makes them seem like evil sneaky cats who are mean. But I have only met sweet Siamese cats, who can sometimes be evil. |

| Re: Our new family member (to be) Wow these kittens have grown up! They will be 8 weeks this Friday, some leaving for their homes, some staying until they can be taken home. Our little girl will be staying with her mom and whatever siblings that will be left until she is 10 weeks old. Me and my sister agreed that we should wait that long instead of just the 8 weeks to fly her from Hawaii to Colorado. So a little more than 2 weeks before our new family member joins the family!!
O and guess what! There are 4 chocolate points and 1 seal point!! I am sooo happy! We are getting a Chocolate point girl! Here are some recent pictures of the kittens.
Here are some new pictures, taken July 6th. The individual pictures are of the female kitten we are getting. |

| Re: Our new family member (to be) Aww....as soon as you get her please post more pics! I have a Himalayan kitty and he has the siamese face. He's a flame point. I remember when I got him as this puffy little kitten....his litter was also 5 kittens, 3 girls and 2 boys! He was the runt so he is a tiny little thing. Siameses and Himalayans are very talkative breeds...be in for a chatterbox! |
