Im pretty sure a lot of the judges dont even bother looking. But I do know that they do look at the paw pads and you can sorta feel the nail that way. Because the paw pads need to be a certain color, Lilys of course are perfect. But Ipo Lani has flowered paw pads, instead of all seal (blackish brown) they are seal with pink spots, and I dont think she is a champion for that reason. But as far as I know she hasnt produced any kittens with flowered paw pads.
Ps. I dont know if it is called spotted or flowered. I just used flowered because thats what you call a Shar Peis tongue color when it is pink spotted
