Other PetsEven though this is Dog Forums, not everyone can limit thier love to just dogs. This is your outlet to talk about other pets you may have or want and questions about them!
Yes, the journey had finally ended.(this one) Mandy is at this very moment ensconced in my stable munching on hay, squealing up a storm(what a bitch she is!) and taking refuge from the storm. Perfect timing, it was dry and sunny all the way up and all the way back with her. The rain started at Svea's right after we pulled out I guess and it just started an hour ago here.
So, we have discovered that Mandy is VERY vocal. She squeals, snorts, grunts, nickers, wuffles, screams and various other as yet unidentified sounds..
In the paddock when she still thought today was just another day.
She is gorgeous! What kind of horse is she? Her head is so delicate and beautiful you can tell just by looking at her that she's a princess. The video didn't work for me and I'm bummed cause I want to hear her vocalizations!
She's an Arabian. She doesn't have much of a dish to her face so I'll probably be answering that question a lot.
I think she'll be a super mare when she finishes growing up. Heck, she already survived being locked in a trailer for six days and a couple vampire bat bites.
I thought she was Arabian but I didn't want to ask that and then look like an idiot if I was wrong. She's just so regal looking. Poor baby, sounds like she had a rough time but it should be easy living from here on out!

Reason: stupidity! :-)
Oh no, her life has been pretty good. 6 days in a sealed trailer was the hauling from Oklahoma through Mexico to Belize and the bat bites were at the quarantine farm here. It should get easier now that she's home.
So sorry! I misunderstood. I don't know the whole story about her so when you said what you said I thought you rescued her or something. Either way, she is just gorgeous.
