MISSING - HORSE POSSIBLY STOLEN!!!!!!!! (Gainesville) GA

Link to Missing Possibly Stolen Horse.

Her owner is frantic.

If anyone knows horsey people please look at or forward this. Her owner is missing her.

5-6 year old Appaloosa mare missing over the weekend from her pasture. Red dun, snowflake blanket, wide blaze, three socks. Wire cut scar on her right hind fetlock. Small scar on her right shoulder. Is beginning to roan throughout her coat. Still has wolf teeth. Recently weaned a foal and may still be partially bagged up. Approximately 14.2 hds tall.

History of abuse, wary of people, but sweet natured. Missing from the Hwy 60 area between Murrayville and Hwy 400.

State Ag Departments and Police are being notified. Reward offered for her safe return.

PLEASE GET IN TOUCH IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION!!!!!!!

just heard from a friend that she may have been run through an auction in Alabama. Please keep an eye out no matter where you live.

The barn owner apparently didn't notify the owner until she had been missing for two days.

Well, sad news but better than finding out she went on a double decker...

Crosspost
I just heard from GM. They found Nova this evening. They searched the field a last time and found her in the low lying ground by a creek. Apparently she died there, and without a struggle (there were no signs of thrashing). It's too late for an autopsy, but she said that it did look to be quick, whatever the cause of death was. GM said that the leaves had covered her and blended with her coat so much that they had just missed her.

She's understandably very, very upset.. but at least she knows.

That's too bad She was so young...I wonder what happened.
I'm glad it wasn't one of the grisly alternatives though.

Oh that's awful. I'm happy that it wasn't some other evil human being's doing, though. I can't imagine having a horse stolen from you.. I know it happens, but it's just such an awful thing to do..
