so over the summer a cat adoppted us, well 2 actually... i was pulling out of the driveway, all the sudden i see this little orange kitty walking into the woods, so ofcourse i get out to see if its ok but she ran... a couple days later i walk up to the barn, i look to my right and see her in the grass, i stop what i'm doing, and try to call her to me, she just walks and cries, i go down to the house and get cat food, so after like 5 mins she comes to me and eats like she has never ate before. so i pet her all i can feel is bones, she is very small i automatically think she is at the most 6 weeks old. well after all that i call the vets they said bring her, i did, the vet is VERY concerned she may have AIDS cause the vet discorverd she has ALL of her adult teeth, that botherd the vet, and than i got very worried... anywhoo the vet said "keep her here over night we will call you this afternoon and let you know about the test" everything was negative, thank god! the vet believed her to be about 6 months her growth stunted from lack of food n all that jazz. so that was in june and now she is my little Mimi she lives at the barn, very happy and healthy! getting alittle chunky but she is beefing up for winter. she hasnt got any taller just wider lol. everyone thinks she is a little kitty cause her size, she is so cute! anywhoo here is a before and after shot. the top pic is the first meal she has ever ate! i just know she is so thankful!
anybody have before and after pics of a rescue? it gives me warm fuzzies to see.
