So I have been riding for a lady recently who basically buys horses and 'flips' them. She is no longer able to ride but loves them, so that's where I come in. I ut the hours on and get a portion of the sale price as well as an hourly rate...it's pretty nice!
I'm still missing my horse but for now at least I have some horse time.
This is the newest purchase--Maggie. She's 6 years old, about 14.3 and so, so gentle. Takes the bit nice, saddles easily, all that. The only thing is that I think someone must have spent a lot of time with her on the ground and not as much in the saddle, while she rides ok she doesn't ride GREAT.
Regardless she's cute, and what a steal--picked her up at auction for 175.
