I must say, I am so happy for you. You finally have your horses again(plus a few extra!)!
Doesn't Angel look fantastic?!?! She really is a miracle dog. I never would have guessed she would grow up looking like that(from where she was!). All the dogs look a bit disheveled at the moment(time for bathes and they are messy from playing in the snow), but are currently snoozing by the fire....first snowstorm of the fall....
The Appy filly is named, Jazzy. She is registered "Jazzability" hence the barn name! She really is a cutie, very nice to work with, and a cute little mover. The horse market is so bad right now, there are deals right and left. She was too nice to pass up!
This will give you an idea on her personality, she is a goof. The breeder took this video of her when she was 9 months of age, playing in the feeder:
You're so right about the market. I know someone that just picked up a 3 month colt at auction for SIX BUCKS (he was the wrong color... Poor little guy.
Here are the four new stalls as of this morning
and looking out my front door. That's how close they are.
