here is a rare occasion with my kitties - they are sitting together! please excuse the decor of my place. since brom has moved in we had to do a little rearranging :S the cats' scratching post has been relocated to the hallway and we had to use ferret playpen panels to block the hallway from the living room. the chair is there because frodo the chub can't make it over the divider without it. the kitties are very focused on the dogs playing in the living room right in front of them.
and now my ferrets :-) fred (cinnamon) and ginny. i had to move them out to my kitchen one day because their room was too hot. i put them in front of the patio doors in the nice breeze. fred had really funny bedhead but it didn't show up too well on camera.

they didn't like being in the cage but they aren't allowed loose in the kitchen, too many dangers. you can see the ice packs wrapped in tea towels in the cage with them. ferrets really don't like the heat. i just love them to pieces! they are so great to cuddle. so cozy. i think that i will always have ferrets and dogs. don't get me wrong, i love the kitties but i am just not a cat person.
Oh your cats are soo cute.. I love big fat kitties .. Your ferrets are beautiful as well.. I love the cinnamon color. I would really like to keep ferrets one day. Then again I also want birds, fish, dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, horses, cows, donkeys... I may just have to open my own zoo haha
haha! i call my house the furry farm ferrets are great pets and so much fun (but A LOT of work)! i really love them. the cinnamon colour is my favourite too. fred is probably my heart ferret. i just love him so much. he is such a great guy. my big cat, frodo, is on a diet but will only lose weight when he is eating all canned food. we are in the process of getting evo canned food shipped to us directly from the supplier so hopefully frodo will lose weight again! he is such a chub.
well i hope frodo is successful in his diet. I know ferrets are a lot of work.. my sister used to have them.. I just love how snuggly they are and while some people hate it I love their musky smell
