Re: Any horse people here?

Hmmm... about that time.. it could be more recent I'd have to check the date on the case (of course I own it )

Prior to the movie the story was one of a series of children's books so it's quite possible.

haha.. I just checked it in Imdb and that movie came out in 2002 EXACTLY 7 years ago.

Re: Any horse people here?

I'm a horse person!!! I have been riding horses for the last 16 years. I currently have two.

Amigo is a 15.2 hand appendix and is as sweet as can be. He's my baby. He's jet black with no white markings.

Jazz is an 18.1 hand TB/Trakehner gelding. He is a dark bay with a tiny white mark on one of his hind legs. Jazz does dressage and some jumping but is unfortunately for sale because of the economy

It's a TB/QH cross. I loff this cross. Generally you get the build of a TB and the temperment of the QH. The ones i have known were fabulous horses.

Ah, trakehners! My favorite breed. When I rode, I always dreamed of the day when I'd get my own horse, and I was determined to get a trakehner.

I really need to start riding again.

Re: Any horse people here?

Horse lover all the way here. I have been riding since I was in elementry school probably around 8 or 9. Owned my first horse when I was 11 and now I have one APHA mare who is my baby! I have owned her since she was a yearling and she is now 10. We are now just mainly doing trail riding since i'm preggers but we were a show pair. western pleasure and halter mainly, was going to dabble in EP this year but after finding out i was pregnant i decided showing would have to wait! I'm hopefully going to breed her in a couple of years so I'm pretty excited about that

This is Classy (Classical Romantic)

Hubby enjoying Classy

Re: Any horse people here?

Horse person here as well. I have been riding for about 10 years now. I dont own my own horse at the moment, but I have owned a heapfull of horses but because I had no time for them I decided to find them homes that could give them enough attention. I do ride other peoples horses when I can. NOW Here are some of the pictures of my past horses:

This was from this summer at by SO's family farm they have these two mutt horses that hardly get ridden and are not properly trained. The poor things are the worst bred horses I have ever seen in my life and proble ever will.

This was my first horse. His name was Fella and he was a saddle bredXQT horse oh and you can proble see from the picture he is big. Fella was 17.3hh

This was my second horse that I trained her name was Babe and she is a Arabian
