I was just curious if anyone knows the average length of a guinea pig's life span? Because my mother in law gave me one 4 years ago that was full grown then and she still seems healthy as can be. She came over a couple months ago and was amazed that Raven (the guinea pig) was still alive. Is 4-5 years a long time for a guinea pig to normally live or something?
It is about 5 to 8 years with proper care. I hope my little baby ( who is sitting on my lap) lives that long. she is doing great. And my other baby too
