knots on my guinea pigs bottom

Hi
I brush my guinea daily for social reasons and was wondering if it was normal to have brown/black knots stuck by his butt. I usually take them out when I see one but they always appear. Could it be from when they poop?

What do u think?

Thanks!

I think it could be. Does your guinea pig have long hair?
