My guinea pig

People have said I need another Guinea Pig. Well I don't think I do. He seems very happy where he is and as long as I play with him I think he will be okay. He has a big cage to play in and lots of chews. He even has his own harness and leash. Also how do you feel on have your guinea pig being neuterd if you want him to have play dates with other guinea pigs that is the other sex (in this case and having play dates with 2 females)

What do you think?

I love to here people's opinions!

I think neutering is a good idea too.

I use to have a Guinea Pig. He was happy go lucky, but I bet he would of been even more happy had he another friend to run about his play-run with.

Neutering any pet is a good idea, if you ask me.

Do you have any pix of your cavy, btw?

Speaking of this situation I need some advice! Yesterday my husband and I decided to get another guinea pig for Raven, ours. Well, we got another little girl one and named her Missy Miss, very cute I might add! But, when we put them together Raven was not happy! Well, my husband's mom said they were probably being territorial and to get them a bigger cage. So, we got them a humungous cage and now they aren't fighting like they were but they stay at opposite ends of the cage and basically avoid eachother. Can anyone give me advice on how to get them to become friends?

One thing that might help would be to rplace all of Ravens stuff like water bottles food bowls etc. with new things so that she does not have anything that was hers and only hers before you got her a buddy. I am not sure that this will work but you could try it. At least they are not fighting.
