I found out that my guinea pig has ring worm

but we are treating her but poor thing and she has a cage mate too!!!

Oh no! I'm sorry! My kitty has had ring worms but we treated her for it and she's back to being a pest.

I hope your Guinea Pig gets better!

Be careful. People catch ring worm just as fast as pets. And it spreads quick.

Yeah, make sure to wash your hands and/or wear gloves every time you handle either guinea pig, and check daily for ringworm on the other pig, okay?

I had ringworm, once, from a stray cat we took in. Not only did she have it, and gave it to me, but all the other 5 cats got it, too. >_< That was expensive...And itchy.

But now, I seem immune to it. =) I've handled many ringworm animals, and have never gotten it since.

Oh, and if you -do- happen to get it, it will look like a little ring of scaly, itchy skin. I got it on my chest and the tip of my nose (really annoying). Ringworm is a fungus, so get anti-fungal cream if you get it. =P
