what other pets do you have?

Ya that makes sense just sell them off when they get to be much work, who cares that their complex emotional creatures with the intellegence of a 5 year old and the emotional stability of a 4 year old, I guess you should throw your kids out to when they hit 14-15 because they become pretty unruley to. Their just stupid parrots its not like its emotionally devistating to be thrown away when you cant deal with their hormonal times, oh wait maybe if you did a bit of research before you brought home such a family member it wouldnt of happened in the first place but you know again its not a big deal its not like they have feelings anyhow.

Anyhow back to the topic at hand besides my dog I have one 2 year old Senegal Parrot who's currently going through the terrible twos so my hands are slightly disfigured and mutilated lately but luckily its just a phase

(he also thinks he's James bond)

In addition to my two dogs, Mac and Yoshi, I have two cats, Annie and Lizzie, two male canaries, Siggy and Geordie, and Andy, a green singer. The dogs would love to chase the cats, the cats want to eat the birds, and the birds, well, they're just glad I'm on guard and keep everyone under control.

Aside from my Collie. I'm also owned by 2 birds (Chatty a 3 or 4 year old cockatoo and Eugene a 2 year old Budgie) 1 Rabbit, a 3 or 4 year old holland loop named Sid, 1 13 or 14 year old Red eared slider (turtle) named Mike, and 2 rats (One fancy rat named Lilly and one hooded (although she dosnt even have a hood, she is all white, but not albino as she has black eyes lol) rat named Daisy. then a tank full of fish, but they are mikes brekfest lunch or dinner every day.

Next to my dog Sita (who lives at my parents untill our house is finished) i own a cat and alot of fish in a fishtank.

Once our new house is finished i hope to get alot of new pets, a couple of goats and another cat

Incase you don't know the numbers thing... example
male.female.unsexed
2.3.4 would be 2 males, 3 females, and 4 unsexed.

1.3 beardies--Logan, Raven, Jean Grey
0.3 leopard geckos--Rouge, Siren, Elektra
2.4 corn snakes--Havoc, Sable, Kink, Nova, Kraven, Eternity
0.2 kenan sand boas--Tigra and Cloak
0.1 boa constrictor (bcc)--Raza
1.0 Veiled chameleon--Neo (rescue)
0.1 rose hair tarantula--Night Crawler
3.0 Crested geckos--Shiva, Beast, Storm

And of course our dog Lil. That's my current list, but it changes depending on the "rescues" I'm working with, but I normally don't include them because they are not part of my collection.

Soon I might be getting a pair of res (red ear sliders) from a guy at work because he's moving and can't keep them, don't know if I will keep them or foster them until I find resposible homes.

Besides my 2 dogs, I have 3 cats. I love all my animals but I there is a special place for my cat Gussy (He's the tan tabby in the tall green grass) . Pictures below.

I have a horse, Quincy. He is a canadian X arab gelding, 14.2hh born in june 2002

I have four cats, ranging from 3 years - 12 years

I have two snakes - a black rat snake and a trinket rat snake

I have a short tailed opossum

I have four guinea pigs

And of course - the two dogs.

Well here goes,

I have 5 parrots and 1 Rat Dog (my Wifes Chihuahua x Terrier) right now!

As for the work in taking care of African Greys and Cockatoos, I Know! I have a Greater Sulpher Crested Cockatoo; the Love of my life; who is 8yrs old and I raised him from 2mo old, when I had to hand feed him 3 times a day. My wife (who is disabled "emphysema") has an African Grey who is also 8yrs old and the love of her life. These two; in particular; throw off lots of down powder (not good for wifes disease), But we will own them till we die. The others are two Yellow Nape Amazons (sisters) and my Blue and Gold Macaw and we love them all and raised them all from babies.

I dont know how anyone does it with more than one Cockatoo.... they are hard work......

Shalva,
I understand completely about more than 1 Cockatoo! At one time; before my wifes disability; we had 4 Cockatoos.

2 Moluccans
1 Umbrella
1 Greater Sulpher Crested

After her illness progressed, we had to rehome the Moluccans and the Umbrella. We were devastated. They were our babies. We very carefully selected the homes for them and keep in touch with new families. Thank God they all adjusted well and are doing fine. They were an immense amount of work, but we would still have them if not for wifes illness.

Other than my two naughty chihuahuas, I also have two fat lazy cats. I also foster small dogs now and then... my current two fosters are 10 week old chihuahua mix puppies (bother and sister.)
