| Re: More family members...... Oh, and yes, my tanks are planted. I use nothing fake. Real rock, driftwood, and all live plants.
Here's the daddy......
Here's the tank.....
And here's another one of my monsters in that tank......

| Re: More family members...... Very nice tank! I don't have fish tanks and haven't since I was a kid. However, a few years ago, I did keep a toad that didn't manage to find some place to hibernate before it turned cold. I kept it all winter and let it go in the spring...Anyway, I put all live plants in its tanks as well. Also, I had real rocks and sticks in it for him to climb up on and a little pool inside for him to sit in...It was neat...I miss that toad. Although, I DON'T miss buying crickets to feed him. That was a pain in the BUTT! They smelled awful! |

| Re: More family members...... Very cool. They are cute. We have an albino one in our tank right now.
We used to breed our cichlids and sell them to our local specialty fish shop for years. Now we just have one 65 gal tank for "looks" and not for baby making. Raising fry is SOOOOO much work! |

| Re: More family members...... I used to breed some Bolivian Rams, and have done some German Blue Rams as well, but had a tough time keeping them alive. So I gave up on them. I never tried breeding the BN's, just thought if they did, they did, lol. Have a male and 2 females, and one breeding cave. Took 2 1/2 years to get these, lol. |

| Re: More family members...... That's awesome...great Golden Dojo too, if that is what I think it is--not too often you see one of those properly accommodated.
That's great though -- any plans for the fry? Too bad you don't live in IL...I've been trying to get my hands on those for a while. For some reason the LFS here think it's okay to charge an exorbent sum even for the regular BNs. |

| Re: More family members...... Golden Dojo? lol. That's not a Golden Dojo. It's my Albino Bichir. He's about 7 inches long.
As for plans, I'm going to put a few in some of my other tanks that don't have any. |

Still love the BNs though |

| Re: More family members...... Very cute, beebees! How are they doing?
I was cleaning my krib tank the other day and noticed my khuli loaches were especially..."everywhere". I knew I only had two or three, but then started counting 1,2,3...6,7..10. Everywhere I looked I saw little heads popping out of rocks. They were VERY big so apparently they've been there awhile. Shows how much attention I pay |

| Re: More family members...... They are doing very well. I'm sure they have been in there for a couple weeks at least. Can't wait til they start getting some size, and can count them easier, lol. |
