Decided... and payed for! ( arriving on Sunday)

Yup, I'm talking about my horses ( you read that right... plural meaning more than one

)

Went out last weekend after a few people had randomly called us telling us of some yearlings, weanlings and such they had for sale.

After spending all of Saturday driving from pasture to pasture, I found my horse. She comes with a one month old filly too.

I regretably dont have any pics yet, I didnt bring my camera on the adventure, we couldnt take the horses right away so we payed for them and came home to fix up some fences ( the filly needed some reinforcements on what we had)
Theyre being delivered either Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning, depends on when we have every thing ready.

( The mare is quite scary looking if you ask me... scary but beautiful all in one)

Oooh, that's so exciting, congratulations! What breed and what color are they? I can't wait to see pictures of them! What are their names?

Wimble Woof. How could you leave us hanging with this news and no picture? I can't wait to see the pictures when you get them. I fear we won't hear much from you once they arrive. Horses tend to take up all your time. lol I am so excited for you.

I Have no idea on breed, they're not registered anything. They're mutts lol

The mare looks quarter to be honest, shes a brown and white paint ( nice one, not blotchy) with the creepiest blue eyes you have ever seen.
The little filly is a cream color ( perhaps palamino??) I cant believe I dont have the pictures of them burnt into my minds eye but the funny thing is, these werent the ones I wanted.
I had fallen for a black and white paint mare, but she didnt like me as much ( she stepped on me and kept on nudging my man out of her way)
I liked the brown and white mare but her eyes freaked me out too much and I wasnt sure about taking a filly either.

After alot of debate we decided to buy the black and white one but she was sold shortly after we looked at her, my man right away asked about blue eyes and she was still there.

Thinking more about the day with the horses, that poor mare was following me around and nudging my back gently, she let me lean into her, handle her feet and so on. I kept walking away from her to chase after the black one.
The filly was laying down through the majority of the time we were with them and my man was sitting down next to her, playing with her legs, rubbing her neck and she was just loving it.
Really the horses picked us, and I'm thrilled ot have it this way.

I really regret not bringing my camera, i just didnt really think Iwould find what I was looking for.

They sound beautiful! What's the color of the filly's eyes? If she has blue eyes and pink skin, she could be a cremello.

they're not blue yet, but she is only a month old too, it would be nice if they ended up blue though, her coloring is so pretty already, blue eyes on her would be one spectacular look!

I don't think they change with age, so if they're brown now, that's probably how they'll stay. Still, a pale palomino or champagne color is very, very pretty!
