i was actually surprised how easy it was...angel and kittles were here first so the dogs learned as pups to leave them alone,except hershey,he still gets scratched sometimes,he cant resist their tails...the rats were alittle harder with the cats..as strays they killed to eat,and still to this day will run in the house with mice,birds,baby rabbits ect...even if they dont want to eat it they carry it home..ive saved several baby rabbits barley touched..i would just squirt them with a water bottle everytime they tried to get scratching at the rat cage or if they were on the sofa and we were holding a rat and they came running up to us,we told them no..they learned fast,but one day i came home and the rats had gotten out and were running all over,angel was lyiing there watching them!!!!i was amazed but of course were very careful,we may not be that lucky a second time..toto the toy poodle is scared of them and will run and hide when there out.. |
