| Re: Who has a pet hamster here? I've owned a bunch of different kinds of hamsters.
I still remember this one that I had as a child. It was white with red eyes. It was a vicious biter.
One time it got out of its cage, and was loose in the house. We could hear it scratching doors and stuff while we were in bed. We called it the demon hamster.
We never did find it either. I guess it lived in the house by itself, staying hidden until it eventually died from whatever causes.
I much prefer guinea pigs. |

I much prefer guinea pigs. | I have a piggy too, and she is a doll. I prefer them as well, as they are much more friendly, easier to handle, and aren't nocturnal. Much more expensive and need a huge cage, but they are worth it. |

| Re: Who has a pet hamster here? I'm thinking of getting a hamster, but every one I've ever met bit me (except one, he was a sweetie). Guinea pigs bite me, too , but not as badly. I must be tasty. I like rats best out of all rodents. But they take too much care and attention for my situation right now. I do think most hamsters are awfully cute. |

| Re: Who has a pet hamster here? I don't have a hammy right now, but have in the past...mainly teddys and dwarfs. Right now the only rodent I have is my gerbil (her buddy passed away some time ago). I have had piggies, rats, and mice as well...I think gerbils are my faves... |

| Re: Who has a pet hamster here? Is anybody else curious about why someone would register on a dog forum, post once with a nebulous question about hamsters and then just disappear?
Is there some kind of contest out there to see who can register on the most forums? |
