I was wondering if any one knows how to destinguish a male from female finch.... i wanna get another one of opposite sex.......kinda hard not knowing what we got already....

Finches

What kind of finch do you have? You need to know what kind of finch you have. Also if you have a male and female you may end up with a lot of finches. You should think twice about breeding. There is a lot to know before breeding and you also have to know what you will do with their offspring.

Do you know what kind of finch you have? They are sexed in different ways depending on the finch species. Can you post a picture?

the male zebra finches have the large orange coloured cheek patch.
