| Their eye is a scale too. When they shed, it you see there is a skin over their eye. I'll show a picture of it one day if I remember to. |

They tend to ignore familiar scents (me and the cats and dogs.) However unlike me, the cats and dogs look more edible to him so he might try. So he gets locked up when the dogs and cats are around, but I take him out when it's just me. |

I really liked the last one.
A few summers ago I went to the zoo and I saw the MOST beautiful snake there. It was the most brilliant shade of green. It was breath taking. I forget what kind of snake it was though. |

I love snakes! I wanted a ball python, but after some research...it is not the snake for me.A few yrs from now I am hoping to get a corn snake. |

a friend of mine is into corns.
just curious, why aren't ball pythons for you?
once you get the setup right, they are easy to keep.

vaughn | The size mainly and space requirements. Also I am a beginner snake owner...don't even have one yet.
But also someone I knew used to breed pythons and said you cannot keep pet rats in the same house as a python or it will go nuts and become dangerous.I am not sure how true that is...but since she bred,I assumed she knew what she was talking about. But maybe not...I didn't press the issue.
I have done alot of research on corns and they seem a better choice for me.Plus I can keep pet rats in the same house (different room).I am probably going to breed my own feeders tho. |

I wasn't sure if it was true or not,as this person has some odd views on things.I still don't think the python is right for me.At least not anytime soon! |
