Horses-What horse would u want?

I wanted an icelandic, but ended up with nine paso finos (and one appendix quarterhorse). Pasos are SO COOL.

Well, I love and have the most experience with Arabians, but I prefer riding half-Arabians...I'm ~5'8" so many purebred Arabians are just a bit on the short side for me (though I know they can handle it). I always really loved riding the Saddlebred-Arabian crosses at work though .

My "fantasy" horse would be a Frisian, but that's based entirely on appearance...I've never actually met one (more than just a quick pat anyway). But I mean, they are totally gorgeous.

I could see myself with a retired track Thoroughbred someday, though my riding would have to improve drastically before attempting to retrain one.

I have always loved Friesians. Especially the stallions. They are so gorgeous.
I have also always loved Hanoverians, Dutch Warmbloods, Shires and of course my all time favorite the American Saddlebred.

I really love Tennesee Walkers and Shires. =3 I could've gotten a TW as a child (the deal was, if I stayed on the honour roll all year, the parents would buy me a TW from our vet), but I didn't keep up my end of the deal. =/

That amazing...I had the opportunity to meet Mike Flarida (reining trainer), his family, and to watch several of their reining training sessions...it's a truly amazing sport, and way out of my league lol

Shawn is a very nice guy as is his brother Mike. Shawn is just a few hours south of me and Mike was even closer until he moved out of state. It truely is a great sport and a well trained reiner can do anything and it truely fun to ride.

Go to www.nrha.com and look up the show schedual. It will list all the NRHA affiliate shows in your area and all areas for that matter and you can check it out and talk to people too. 99% of them are very nice people and will help you out if you have questions.

Yeah Mike was close to me (location) back when he was in Ohio, but that was several years ago now, so I don't know where he went...I only knew him through my boss and my uncle (separate people).

Just checked and Shawn just won the NRHA Open Futurity AGAIN on a daughter of Whips Little Stap. Gues he is the real deal. (The horse not Shawn alrealy know Shawn in the real deal).

Any of the Draft or Draftx. I love the attitude they have and the comfort of riding them, it's like riding in an easy chair!

I've always wanted a draft horse. For general riding, I'll probably always prefer a Quarter Horse - that's what my first horse was and she's an amazing girl.

I've always owned either Arabs or Qtrs/Paints - my next will be a Qtr - I am dying to get back into reining and possibly cutting (just for fun!)

I have had Arabs for over 35 years but would love a draft breed Perchron or Shire to drive . But at this time in my life I have fallen for my donkeys you can ride the standard and mamoth sizes . I have minis and standard 19 head in all . Will be getting a mamoth this year to train to ride and drive we show our donkeys but I still love my Arabs Ionly have one left she is 20 years old now .

I have never owned a horse but I would some day love to own one. So any horse would be great! I do like Arabian's and Paint's though. Either one of them would be prefered.
