aquariums and cats

this first tank doesn't exist anymore, but its my pride and joy, so i always post it whenever i can.

it is a 20 gallon long with a sand substrate and contained a red honey gourami and various tetras. plants include rotala rotundifolia, tiger lotus, dwarf hairgrass, sunset hygrophelia, watersprite, aponogeton, crypt wndtii, crypt lucens, and Java fern windelov.

next is a 5.5g nano tank, its still a work in progress and it is currently unhappy about the way i moved it (a lot of the watersprite died) its home to a scarlet badis (dario dario) a stone/anchor catfish (hara jerdoni), and some various shrimp. plants are watersprite, dwarf saggitaria, java moss, and dwarf 4-leaf clover.

third, i don't have a full tank picture, but currently its nothing special. i've done almost nothing to it, so its very bare. its a 45g tank and when i get around to scaping it, it will be an african biotope. currently, its home to only one fish, and that would be Sid, my spotted climbing perch (Ctenopoma acutirostre).

and finally, that 20 gallon i posted in the first picture in its next life. the plants floating around on the left side will be planted eventually..

and for inhabitance, i will hopefully soon have a pair of dwarf pike cichlids! if Barbie can get a male for me...

I've always wanted to have an aquarium, I think they are so beautiful.
